I’m finding my lecturer’s reaction to the online submissions of our essays extremely amusing :D

“Group B, please format this, or I’ll halve your mark, slash ten marks off it, then halve it again.”

“Kevin, if this is a joke, I’m past being amused by it. You’ve posted this essay in two places where it doesn’t belong, including here, and your team-mate has posted it the right place, but unformatted. Why, why, why, are you doing this to me?”

“Jacky, Sandy, Milan: Please post your essay under Topic 15 where it belongs. Could it really be so hard?!”

“Greoup B, you can put diagrams in a separate file. Please put a formatted essay in the box. This is driving me crazy!!!”

Can’t blame the guy though, he was pretty clear on instructions, but then again, he was probably a little ambitious in asking students (especially UWS ones) to use the HTML editor to format and submit their essays in a discussion board post. Uni students are LAZY, don’t care and just want to be done with an assignment as soon as they’ve finished it! I’m sure by now he is well on his way to learning this, though. I expect that he will be accepting uploaded Word documents in the future!
