Bacon, eggs, hashbrown, toast, baked beans and sausages. I ate everything except for the snags and hash brown (which I gave to Aileen). I just couldn’t fit it all! What I did manage to chow down tasted pretty good, though.

The Weekend in Pictures – Vol. 8, Part II

11.10.09

Bathurst was on so David had no issues with staying in bed to watch it. It doesn’t really tickle my fancy, in fact it drove me out of the house. It seems my weekends these days are not complete without a fix of nail polish so I seized the opportunity to run some polish errands like exchanging that bottle of CC Fast Woman that I doubled up on last week. I also dropped by the more local nail supply place that I recently discovered, just check it out. I’m glad to report that they are as competitive on prices and closer than the place I used to go to – a relief for me because the sales girl I used to have a relationship with at my previous source has left. I bought some new colours and a bottle of Seche Vite (I just had to see what the hype is all about! More to report in following posts) and scoped out what was on offer in terms of nail racks since the one I have now can no longer accommodate my collection.

OPI: Can you Tapas this? Yucatan if U want, Play ’til Midnight, Barefoot in Barcelona, Here Today Aragon Tomorrow

Yes, it would seem that nail polish is taking over my life at the moment. I can’t really deny this but I will blame the terrible weather as of late for skewing the balance of the content of my posts. I would have more riding pictures up if I could ride!!!

09.10.09 – Wagaya

Oops, no photos of the actual meal because once again, we were running late and starving! I did however, manage to get a pic of Jason and his lovely girly drink :P

Eyerollingly good! Aileen seems to be having a blast in the background as well

11.10.09 – Lazy Sunday

Not much to report this weekend, really. The weather was dreary and our plans to go for a ride were destroyed by the threat of rain. Perfect for pho, though, which is what we woke up to have for brunch… and then again for dinner :D My mum’s pho totally kicks the shit out of the one that Pho An in Bankstown charges $12 for. I am at a loss as to why Asians (of all people) are willing to pay such an inflated price for something that can be found for less than $10 (and better tasting) elsewhere (Pho 76 at Green Valley, for example).

Mum’s home made pho. Tai (raw) and cooked beef off the bone.

My Dad is the Best!

My dad offered me some cockles (or clams) tonight but I declined because I couldn’t be bothered opening them. He left my room and returned 10 minutes later with this:

A plate of them ready-opened! Complete with tartare sauce and a fork! I am very spoilt, indeed. Thanks Dad, you’re awesome! :D

Pogo Tracks – Alice

This is so fucking cool. Must watch Alice in Wonderland again some time soon.

The music video for my song ‘Alice’, an electronic piece composed using sounds recorded from the Disney film ‘Alice In Wonderland’.

It could not have been synced any more perfectly.

Thanks for showing it to me, wild whore man!
